Actually, that's not really the essence of the whole day because you can't see the freak-out when it is someone else's turn or her running down the lane with me trying to catch her. You do, however, get to see how well Isis bowls. She beat all of us.

Bowling
Today, we took Isis bowling. It was Mason's birthday (Mason is Jen and Jen's son). It was fun. I'm exhausted and want nothing more than my bed. But, Jeff captured a video that shows the essence of the whole day. Enjoy!

Webbing

So, new news for the Poole family is that we have started our own website. Check it out. It is http://www.lousymom.com/. Click on it and try it out. We're looking for feedback. Lots of feedback, so click on comments and let us know what you think or fill out the contact form on the website. We really want to make it great. Let us know.
In other news, Isis is still getting sick once a week, poor thing. She just can't stay well. We are told by the pediatrician that this is normal and we see that the same thing is happening to our friends with a 3-year-old, but still we worry...and rack-up tons in doctor bills.

Grandma and Grandpa came to visit again and Isis was over the moon about it.
She has so many words now and more all the time. Just the other day, I brought home a watermelon that she thought was a ball. She was so mad that the ball wouldn't bounce and she had a fit when I cut the ball. When I gave her a piece, she kept saying "mmmm...ball." We must have been saying, "not a ball, watermelon" because last night, she pointed to the fridge and demanded "notaball".

Shopping with Isis
Isis found a chair that she liked as a walker at Smith's Marketplace. We got a lot of odd looks. She's pretty stinking active at the store and absolutely refuses to sit in the cart. Shopping is not a lot of fun with her right now.

Crazy busy
Well, we're still crazy busy here. Isis is walking all over the place. She just started at day care and she loves it. She only cries and fusses when its time to leave. Strangely, she took to day care immediately, but was really shy at the library kids' activity the other day.
In other news, we are expecting again. I put a little widget tracker up, but if its really annoying, leave a comment and I'll take it down. We think its neat, but that doesn't have to mean you do. The actual pic we have so far is this one.Its on its head and waving with its little hand. We'll let you know when we find out what it will be. For now, its just a lot of nausea. Wish us luck. We hope this sticks.
Here's a little video of cutie Isis for your viewing pleasure.

Isis walking with booty
Here's a video of Isis walking with a bowl full of something called "Pirate's booty." She loves the stuff. Its like better tasting cheetos. The end is the best part.
Enjoy!

Back from Thailand
Jeff and I are finally back from Thailand. We had a great time. Here are a couple of our travel pics. Jeff covered in monkeys, Jeff and I at one of the temples in Thailand, at one of the temples in Cambodia, me holding a live python, and Jeff, our friends, and I eating crickets. They were deep fried.

Cambodia was so hot, I thought we were going to die. We took a day and ditched out on the tour and went to the Children's hospital. That was eye-opening.

It was nice to travel with our friends. Plus, a lot of the trip was as part of a very nice tour group. We did, thankfully, have some time on our own and a couple days to relax on our own time on Phuket Island.

We got to ride elephants, take boat trips, eat exotic food, visit Laos, have a suit made, and see a LOT of buddhist temples. Overall, its a trip I recommend. Although the heat in Cambodia would lead me to not recommend going there. You can live like a king in Thailand on the dollar still. The only down side is the long plane flight. I have to admit that we even had western style toilets almost everywhere we went. Now, that's travelling in style!

Movin' on up.

Well, we moved on up to the East side a little further. Now, we have a bigger house and more room for the munchkin to roam. And roam she does! She is fast like lightening. We are having our kitchen remodeled, so it is not the safest place for her right now, but turn your head for a moment and there she is. A favorite game is now pulling the baby-safe covers off the power outlets. Fun! Check out the picture of the kitchen in process of being torn out.
Jeff and I are heading out of the country
this week for a couple of weeks, so my parents will be alone with Isis for a while. They may need some support. Isis will be pretty excited to get rid of us for a while, though. With moving, remodeling, and all else, we have been no fun.
